Further information
The Positive and Peaceful Places award will be awarded to settings who can evidence that they meet the city council's charter statements. This process will be guided and supported by the SEMH team at a cost of £600 for a three year accreditation.
This award encompasses a whole school ethos and approach focussing on creating a peaceful school environment for pupils, staff and the local community. Where bullying is less likely to occur and incidences lessen and relationships are repaired.
We encourage schools to discuss the accreditation of Positive and Peaceful Places with your SEMH link teacher or with Bhavin Pathak (Mental Health Manager) at bhavin.pathak@leicester.gov.uk
For more information and to give expressions of interest, contact Amanda Stapleton (SEMH Team) at amanda.stapleton@leicester.gov.uk.
